**Objects:** THE OBJECTS OF THE CHARITY SHALL BE:A) TO ADVANCE EDUCATION BY ENCOURAGING HIGH STANDARDS OF CLASSICAL GUITAR PLAYING, MUSICIANSHIP, AND MUSICAL APPRECIATION FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT IN PARTICULAR, BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY THROUGH, I) EDUCATIONAL SUMMER SCHOOLS FOR GUITARISTS OF ALL AGES AND ABILITIES; II) PROVIDING GRANTS FOR THOSE IN FINANCIAL NEED TO ACCESS THE CARDIFF GUITAR FESTIVAL SUMMER SCHOOLS; III) ORGANIZING ACCESSIBLE, HIGH-QUALITY CONCERTS FOR THE COMMUNITY, ANDIV) ORGANIZING OUTREACH MUSICAL EVENTS FOCUSING ON THE CLASSICAL GUITAR AT LOCAL VENUES, FOR EXAMPLE SCHOOLS AND COMMUNITY CENTRES. B) TO ADVANCE SUCH CHARITABLE PURPOSES (ACCORDING TO THE LAW OF ENGLAND AND WALES) AS THE TRUSTEES SEE FIT FROM TIME TO TIME, IN PARTICULAR THROUGH THE MAKING OF GRANTS AND DONATIONS IN FURTHERANCE OF OBJECT A).

**Activities:** GWYL GITAR CAERDYDD / CARDIFF GUITAR FESTIVAL organizes an annual music festival consisting of concerts, workshops and courses for musicians of all standards. It also provides bursaries for young musicians, commissions new compositions and provides outreach events for local schools and other organizations.
