coaches. Other Achievements and Perfomiance The Club continues to work collaboratively with its members in developing a 5-y8ar Strategic Plan. In addition to measures to improve Its own culture and facilities. the plan includes a commitment to engage further with its local community. Our facilities werè shared with several other rowing clubs across the Country to help with their training programmes. Improvements were made to the operation of Open Events we organise for racing on the river Dee, including a greater emphasis on feedback from participants. These events provide showcase for the sport to local residents. The main achlevement of the charity continues to be offering the opportunity of healthy exercise to residents of Chester and surrounding areas. Our Learn To Row courses attracted 24 adult athletes (over 80°A women) during th1$ period of whom over 75% chose to continue to rowing membership (as prior year). The reduction in LTR courses refiected better member retention through an improved coaching program and consequent restrictions due to squad I site capacity. This has resulted in a Wait list exceeding 94 adult athletes. expected to grow during this coming Olympic year. The Summer School programme involved 62 young people {49°A girls) learning to with 7 coaches and 22 junior helpers.
