Annual Trustees Report for Y/E 28[th] February 2024
Go and Tell Ministries is a charitable Incorporated Organisation. The principal office of the CIO is 5 Queens Avenue, Rochdale , Lancashire, OL12 9HS.
The CIO is governed by 3 Trustees who during this reporting period are Ian Lowe, Gillian Mary Berry and Peter Trevor Baddeley. As Gillian Berry and Peter Baddeley were coming to the end of their 4 year tenure, it was agreed to reappoint them as Trustees and they accepted the office of charity trustee at the AGM on 19/04/2024
The Trustees delegate the day to day management of the CIO to the Operations Director, Katherine Lucy Hudson, 5 Queens Avenue, Rochdale, Lancashire, OL12 9HS.
The Trustees recognise the role of Wayne Hudson as a trained evangelist to carry out the objects of Go and Tell Ministries.
The CIO holds a charity bank account with CAF Bank Ltd, 25 Kings Hill Avenue, Kings Hill, West Malling, Kent, ME19 4JQ.
The objects of Go and Tell Ministries are to advance the Christian faith in the UK and Worldwide for the public benefit, mainly but not exclusively by means of broadcasting Christian messages of an evangelistic, teaching and practical nature. We have fulfilled these objects in the following ways:
- Go and Tell have carried out activities over the last 12 months which include Oversea Missions and UK Missions, Church Outreach Events as well as Preaching Engagements to encourage church congregations in missional work and the Christian message. In all these activities we offer prayer for spiritual wellbeing as well as for those who are sick.
We have preached and supported church events as they reach out to their local communities including a church weekend event that meets right in the middle of their local community, in the market place in Dudley Town Centre. Prayer was offered as well as support for those wanting to be free from addictions.
We were invited to talk at Community Homeless meals in Rochdale and Rotherham These events are open to the general public to come and hear the Christian message of hope, inclusion as well as practical support associated with homelessness.
Through our ongoing missions and links in Mexico we continue to support the work of the Valientes run by Jocobed Lugo. This is a small outreach set up to reach to the poorest children in the community of Tuxtla, Chiapas and offers basic education and a meal to those children unable to access formal education as well as support to their families. As well as giving a small donation we have also taken Laptops and Resources that have been donated

by local churches in the UK. Children from a local church have sent letters and videos as they become aware of the realities of those living in less fortunate circumstances, bringing opportunities to demonstrate their faith.
- We have undertaken 4 Evangelism Training & Equipping Events through invitations from local churches. These workshops equip, train and provide confidence to Christians to communicate and demonstrate their faith. We have also supported and offered teaching at other Missional Organisation Events such as reaching people in Manchester City Centre where we supported CFAN in practical training a local Church in Streetwork, taking a team out into the city, speaking with the public as well as signposting people to local churches.
Our Go Impact monthly mentoring group that teaches and encourages local evangelists has continued to grow from 4 people to now regularly seeing 10 people each month. Opportunities to join missions have been given to those who are trained through this group as they are equipped to share their beliefs with attendees joining missions to Mexico as well as in the North East UK.
-
We have seen many people choosing to follow Jesus through these activities as people respond to the Good News of the Christian Gospel Message of Hope. We offer people details of their local church so they can become part of a faith community.
-
We continue to use the resources that Go and Tell have produced such as Training Booklets and What’s Next Bookmarks / Videos to new Christian believers.
We continue to communicate the work of Go and Tell through our Bi monthly Newsletters. These include details of what the CIO has been doing as well as testimonies which encourage people in their belief and Spiritual well-being.
-
We are part of a wider network of evangelists as we link up with those around the UK who have similar objectives as our own. We have met several times throughout the year for equipping, strategising and sharing resources. Wayne has also completed a Leadership training Course with Ground level Network as he develops further leadership and team building skills and connections.
-
The Go and Tell Prayer Network continues to underpin the work of the Charity as it uses WhatsApp to communicate prayer needs, providing vital prayer support to those in need of prayer as well as for the nation.
-
In April 2024 we completed our annual a Safeguarding Audit.
-
Our Annual General Meeting was held on 19th April 2024.
-
As Go and Tell have an income over £25000, the Trustees hired Accountant Clare Smith to undertake an Independent Examination. Her report is attached and no actions are required. The trustees approved the annual accounts, a copy of which is appended to this report. We are always grateful for the continuing generosity of our supporters.
