## **Annual Trustees Report for Y/E 28[th] February 2022**
Go and Tell Ministries is a charitable Incorporated Organisation. The principle office of the CIO is 5 Queens Avenue, Rochdale , Lancashire, OL12 9HS.
The CIO is governed by 3 Trustees whom are, Howard Carl Smith, Gillian Mary Berry, Peter Trevor Baddeley.
The Trustees delegate the day to day management of the CIO to the Operations Director, Katherine Lucy Hudson, 5 Queens Avenue, Rochdale, Lancashire, OL12 9HS.
The Trustees recognise the role of Wayne Hudson as a trained evangelist to carry out the objects of Go and Tell Ministries.
The CIO holds a charity bank account with CAF Bank Ltd, 25 Kings Hill Avenue, Kings Hill, West Mailing, Kent, ME19 4JQ.
The objects of Go and Tell Ministries are to advance the Christian faith in the UK and Worldwide for the public benefit, mainly but not exclusively by means of broadcasting Christian messages of an evangelistic, teaching and practical nature. We have fulfilled these objects in the following ways:
1. Over the last 12 months we have built upon the success of the street ministry set up last year in Manchester, regularly going out and share the Chrisitan Faith through evangelistic proclamation and one to one conversations, giving out Christian tracts and literature as well as offering prayer for the sick to the general public.
- This has continued to grow as local Christian and ministry groups have joined us including Impact Church where they brought food to feed the hungry and homeless, Encounter Ministries from Oldham and the Glory Dancers from Gorton, as well as local prayer groups who are exercising and growing in confidence in their Christian belief.
- Many of the people we have ministered to have addictions and have therefore benefited from specific literature given them aimed at drug and alcohol abuse as well as signposting them to facilities such as rehabilitation centres and local churches which offer practical help. As a result we have seen an increase in belief in the Christian Message with new followers. People have been offered information about places of Christian Worship to both Christians and new followers who have shown interest.
2. Whilst reaching people on the streets it became obvious to us that we needed an accessible resource to give out that would explain to new believers what to do with their new found faith. We produced a What’s Next Bookmark that can be given out for free to new believers

with a QR code that links to a video we made that simply explains what the Christian faith is about and enable people to have further information, linking through to our website.
3. In April Wayne was invited to speak on UCB Christian Radio to explain how the street ministry began and the impact.
4. As a result of this Streetwork we were invited to go to Sheffield in October to speak to a group of people from various churches wishing to set up a similar outreach. We held a morning training and workshop on evangelism with approx. 18 attendees and then practical Street work on the streets of the city in the afternoon. The event organiser, Andrew Stennet, filled in our feedback forms with these comments …
_”The event itself served greatly in bringing numerous churches together. From the sessions people left encouraged and more equipped to share the Gospel. It was also great to have been shown various resources to aid the confidence in sharing the gospel”_
We have since been invited and carried out training, workshop or practical Streetwork with New Hope Church and Sanctuary of Praise churches in Cardiff, Solihull, and in Rochdale with New Life and Newbold Churches.
5. To aid the training workshops, we had printed ‘How to’… training guides from our Evangelism training booklet, making it more accessible. These are on simple cards with QR codes and are given out at training workshops, churches and ministry groups to help with their evangelism programmes, teaching believers how to practically share their faith.
6. As lockdown restrictions have lifted, Wayne has been able to join with other charities and groups with similar objects, travelling to Reigate, Derby and Rotherham.
We have continued to use the online platforms of Zoom, Facebook and You tube to broadcast Christian messages. We gave a message in an Easter Series with Mission24, a testimony evening with Kings Church Cambridge and a church service to a small rooftop church in Pakistan, listeners benefitting from teaching in their Christian faith.
7. In September we were part of the core team that held an Evangelistic Conference in Liverpool, with over 50 delegates from all over the North West of England. The purpose was to encourage and equip other local evangelists in their faith, calling and sense of purpose.
8. In September the Prayer Group met in person for the first time, with people from across a numerous churches coming together to offer prayers for the work of the charity, the sick and for people of the region, country and world.
9. In February 2022 Wayne visited Mexico with Mario Otero from Gospel Action. They visited the region of Chiapas, proclaiming the Christian message in which over 300 people responded and equipped the believers to the poorer villages in the region. Wayne visited a school in Tuxtla called the Valientes, these are children of street vendor parents who don’t have access to formal education.

10. As a Charity we continue to communicate what we are doing through Quarterly Newsletters. These include details of what the CIO has been doing as well as testimonies which encourage people in their belief and Spiritual well-being.
11. As the part of the Charities governance the Trustees identified the need for a part-time Operations Director to provide the ongoing administration of the charity, including financial and secretarial duties, reporting directly to the trust. As a result the trustees gave a 12month contract to Katherine Lucy Hudson for 8 hours per week.
12. In February 2022 an annual Safeguarding Audit was carried out in line with the Charity Commission Safeguarding Trustee Actions to ensure good safeguarding governance including all Trustees and volunteers completing a Safeguarding Training PowerPoint.
13. On 14[th] April 2021 we held our AGM.
14. As a Charity we are financially supported mainly by regular giving made by individuals who give money by monthly Standing Orders, these include two other charities; Branches Christian Fellowship and Proclaim Trust. We also receive monetary gifts from other Ministry groups such as Mission24 and churches for the ministry that Wayne Hudson, Evangelist, does with them. We have also benefitted by one off gifts from people with the same Christian Beliefs and aims.
During the last year the CIO have made payments of: £4100.00 to Wayne Hudson for his services as an Evangelist for the Trust. £1840 to Katherine Hudson for Administration
£229.31 for Public Liability Insurance of £5,000,000.
During the last year Go and Tell paid for training for:
- i. £300 for 12 months training at The School of Biblical Studies for Wayne Hudson.
- ii. £129.95 for Impact Evangelism Training for KL Hudson
During the last year Go and Tell have made gifts of:
- iii. £600 Lifelink in Rwanda - for work with Widows and Orphans
