The objects of Go and Tell Ministries are to advance the Christian faith in the UK and Worldwide for the public benefit, mainly but not exclusively by means of broadcasting Christian messages of an evangelistic, teaching and practical nature. We have fulfilled these objects in the following ways:
- In the last 12 months we set up a regular street ministry in Manchester City Centre and have advertised these widely using social media platforms. Equipment has been purchased in the form of a pop up gazebo and a portable pa speaker to enable us to share the Christian faith through evangelistic proclamation and one to one conversations and offering prayer for the sick to the general public. We have purchased and distributed Christian Literature to teach about the Christian Message and Lifestyle. Some of the people we have ministered to have addictions and have therefore benefited from specific literature given them aimed at drug and alcohol abuse as well as signposting them to facilities such as rehabilitation centres and local churches which offer practical help. We have seen an increase in belief in the Christian Message with around 200 new followers and offered information about places of Christian Worship to both Christians and new followers who have shown interest. Other Christian individuals and Organisations from across the UK have joined us during this street ministry and has resulted in them gaining confidence in sharing their Christian faith. These include people such as dancers, church leaders and Mission 24 team members.

In March Wayne went into Holy Trinity primary school in Littleborough and taught the year 4 pupils on Missions and Missionaries, learning about other cultures as part of their Religious Education. The children benefitted from Wayne’s experiences of Christian Mission from around the world and specifically Uganda where Wayne had connected with a local orphanage school on a previous mission trip. The school children wrote letters to the Ugandan children.
-
As a result of the Street Ministry work, Go and Tell Ministries has written and produced an Evangelic training Manual which teaches Christian believers how to practically share their faith. 100 of these were printed and are being used as either a stand-alone manual or alongside a Training Workshop.
-
As a result of the training manual being produced and advertised, a local organisation, The Glory dancers, approached Go and Tell and asked for teaching and practical training in evangelism to increase their understanding of the Christian Message as well as confidence for them to share it. In February this year, 19 delegates received training over a Zoom Workshop, delivered over two Saturday morning sessions. The delegates received the training manuals in the post to use alongside the workshop. The workshop was successful in it aims in as much that feedback was received from the delegates that they had gained confidence and were sharing their faith. As part of this online venture, the CIO purchased a Zoom licence.
-
Due to the nature of this last year with Corona Virus restrictions, Go and Tell has looked to new ways to teach and communicate the Christian message. This has been done mainly through online platforms, such as social media and Zoom as well as creating a Website which we have purchased a domain name and web hosting. The CIO purchased filming and recording equipment, and a Zoom licence to enable this to happen. Christian Messages have been broadcasted including a month of Advent Devotionals teaching the Christmas Message. We have also been invited to communicate the Christian faith by other Christian Organisations such as Shake the Nations UK, which reached over 40 countries, Encounter Ministries, which reach out to the local area, as well as providing Sunday morning teaching to UK churches that were meeting online during Lockdown restrictions, therefore benefitting from teaching in their Christian faith and encouragement of their Spiritual Wellbeing.
-
As a Charity we communicate what we are doing through Quarterly Newsletters and Monthly Updates to subscribers. These include details of what the CIO has been doing as well as testimonies which encourage people in their belief and Spiritual well-being.
-
We have established a Prayer Group where Christian believers exercise their faith by joining together in unity to offer prayers for the work of the charity, the sick and for people of the region, country and world. Testimonies of how God has answered prayers are shared which strengthens belief and spiritual well-being.

- As a Charity we are financially supported mainly by regular giving made by individuals who give money by monthly Standing Orders, these include two other charities; Branches Christian Fellowship and Proclaim Trust. We also receive monetary gifts from other Ministry groups such as Mission24 and churches for the ministry that Wayne Hudson, Evangelist, does with them. We have also benefitted by one off gifts from people with the same Christian Beliefs and aims.
