|Summary of the main<br>activities in relation to those<br>purposes for the public<br>benefit, in particular, the<br>activities, projects or<br>services identified in the<br>accounts.|Para 1.17 and<br>1.19||London Retired Police Dogs Trust launched<br>in November 2019 with ongoing fundraising<br>through public events as a priority and then<br>affected by the worldwide Covid pandemic<br>we were forced to re-evaluate and find<br>other ways of fundraising.<br>Online Shop and Merchandise<br>We run a successful online shop within our<br>website www.lrpd.uk<br> where we sell<br>merchandise directly via the shop and also<br>through third party volunteers attending<br>public facing fundraising events.<br>Yearly LRPD Calendar<br>Our yearly Calendar is produced and paid<br>for by Metfriendly, supporters of LRPD, with<br>all profits from sales going direct to the<br>fund.<br>Give as You Earn Initiative<br>With the assistance of the Charities Aid<br>Foundation we successfully run a give as<br>you earn scheme within the Metropolitan<br>Police Service where employees can sign<br>up to contribute a monthly donation direct<br>from source to LRPD.<br>Ongoing Volunteer Supporter Fundraising<br>Activities<br>Throughout the year supporters have<br>undertaken a variety of events with|





|||fundraising on behalf of LRPD being the<br>driving force, we have had volunteers run<br>the London Marathon, Swim the<br>Serpentine, run the London Landmarks<br>Half Marathon, attend Open Days, Fetes,<br>Fairs, Cake Sales, and hold raffles to name<br>a few. Once the application has been<br>reviewed by an independent vet and<br>verified then the trustees discuss the<br>individual application details and the<br>current financial position of the charity and<br>thus a decision on reward is reached.  We<br>are proud to be in a position to offer 100%<br>of the claim amount requested in the<br>majority of all claims to date.|

|Summary of the main<br>achievements of the charity,<br>identifying the difference the<br>charity’s work has made to<br>the circumstances of its<br>beneficiaries and any wider<br>benefits to society as a<br>whole.|Para 1.20|Since the launch of London Retired Police<br>Dogs Trust and registration as a registered<br>charity LRPD have continued to grow.<br>LRPD has overcome obstacles and<br>developed new and innovative ways to be<br>able to continue to fundraise.<br>We have made awards of over £260,000<br>since our launch in direct response to<br>applications received for assistance with<br>regards to the welfare of retired police dogs<br>up to 30/06/2025.  (In this accounting<br>period our award settlements totalled<br>£110,787). The number of applications is<br>increasing due to cost of living and up to<br>30/06/2025 we have assisted with 288<br>separate applications for support.<br>Since launch, the London Retired Police<br>Dogs Trust has grown to include retired<br>City Of London Police Dogs and retired<br>London Fire Brigade dogs.<br>LRPD has also secured a working<br>partnership with Goddards Veterinary<br>Group who are able to offer a discount on<br>fees relating to retired police dogs<br>treatment.||

The trustees contribute<br>the rise in applications to the cost-of-living<br>crisis and people being more aware of the<br>existence of London Retired Police Dogs<br>Trust. The trustees have been able to<br>assess each claim on an individual basis<br>and due to the strength of the asset base<br>the trustees have again been able to<br>approve successful applications at 100% of<br>the claim amount. They will continue to<br>monitor the financial strength of the charity<br>during the current and future accounting<br>periods.|

As the charity's trustees, you are responsible for the preparation of the
accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011

I report in respect of my examination of the Trust's accounts carried out
under section 145 of Ihe 2011 Act and in carrying out my exarninalion, I
have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission
