**Objects:** THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT THE ADVANCEMENT OF HEALTH AND SAVING OF LIVES THROUGH THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE USE OF EHEALTH LITERACY PRINCIPALLY BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY IN THE UNITED KINGDOM BY MAKING EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES AVAILABLE FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF INDIVIDUAL CAPABILITIES, COMPETENCES, SKILLS AND UNDERSTANDING OF THE USE OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY IN THE FIELD OF EHEALTH.
