Summary ofthe main achievements ofthe charity during the year		The charity was established with the primary purpose ofoperating a Community Managed Library. Our offer was always intended to be wider than a traditional library service, aimed at helping children and young people achieve and succeed, supporting economic opportunities, facilitating better mental and
		physical health and encouraging independent and active lives for older
		residents.
		The pandemic began almost immediately after the charity was established and
		no progress was made in respect ofthe new lease for the existing library
		premises and no other alternative premises were available. As at31"March 2021, negotiations were still ongoing between the freeholder of
		the commercial premises and London Borough of Ealing for the lease (and
		ultimately the consent to sub lease to the charity).
		Nevertheless, the charity still invited, encouraged and received expressions of interest from volunteers willing to give their time to the running ofthe Community
		Managed Library once it is able to open.
