1) As reported last year we look wssession of our newly drFed out and
decorated studios within KGH. Through the early part of 2024 work was
carried out to reequip both our main broadcast studTro and the standby unit.
The reconfiguration of our Spa￿ enabled the building of a dedicated
serverlengineering facility adjacent to a re￿pts.0n area. Following testing,
broadcasts.ng frcyn this facilty coMff￿eed at the beginning of March!
2) With this behind us we continued ￿th the roll out of the Alexa project thanks
to support from the Hospital Broadcasting Associatson. By the eTKI of 2024 we
have installed a totsl of over 180 of these units across KGH, improving our
product reach! There are still areas asking to be connected and we are
currenty as of March 2025 pursuing funding to accommodate these requests.
3) Over the course of 2024 we mcKlIf￿ our music policy following research
within the listener base and researth within the market. This has resufted in
an increase in listeners both within the Hospital and through the wider
communty (l>oth by Alexa and our streaming service) we get regular feedbac
from our listener base wfiich encourages us to keep building our audEn
and expanding our outyut.
4) On the subject of Output, during the year special prograTns were produced in-
house including for Amied For￿$ day and also in cooperation wtth the KGH
Pastoral team programs for both Remembrance Sunday and Christrnas
Moming.
5) Our membership, whilst remaining stable through the year is showing signs of
increasing with a number of people going through the Volunteer process as of
February 25.
on￿ again, we thank Senior Managemerrt of KGH for their continued support and
finally to the KGHRadh) team of presenters, fund raisers and sponsors along with my
fellow trustees for all their hard work. We have some excitrng Trdeas and plans for the
comirvJ year and look forward with cOtTfiden￿ for 2025 and beyond.
