To advance the education of the public on the subject of breast cancer and other cancer-related subjects such as but not limited to cancer prevention and cancer diagnoses. |

At our trustee meetings, we considered the Charity Commission's guidance on public benefit in planning our activities for the year. The main activities are as follows: • Running workshops and events • Never alone Campaign • School Workshops • Community Workshops • Production of Material • Collaborating with • Macmillan • South Asian women cancer survivors, telling their stories. Storytelling is powerful in encouraging dialogue at a community level.We engaged in several talks to raise awareness with businesses and the community. The talks range from Woman ESOL classes, Asian Woman Resource Centres and broader community events. |

Para 1.38 | We are grateful for the many hours volunteers have spent working with the South Asian Breast Cancer Patients. Without this valuable contribution of time, energy and expertise, we would not have been able to achieve so much Volunteers have all been checked on DBS and provide the following service • School Workshops • Awareness Events • Befriending Service • Fundraising • Meetings We have 20 registered volunteers who all have a DBS Barring certificate. Sakoon Through Cancer prides itself on the work the volunteers do. The last year has been unprecedented. Volunteers have supported Sakoon in the Community (SIK), supporting vulnerable residents with prescription collection, shopping, and food parcel donations. |
