March **2012** **TAR** 3 ## Section D ## **Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year** ## Achievements and performance 2024 to 2025 saw groups of UK students visit our charity sites in Tanzania whilst on their educational expeditions. They visit our sites for the project opportunities we provide working with rural schools and communities. They worked alongside the children in Primary and Secondary schools to develop school vegetable gardens to provide ingredients for a school breakfast. They also assist with crops grown as cash crops to enable schools to earn an income to improve educational resources. Classroom and toilet block improvements, painting educational murals and extending water supplies are other tasks achieved. Student groups also support our reusable sanitary pad projects that are proving extremely important to empower women and girls in the communities we work with. All of our work is designed to be sustainable.
