School facility**<br>**improvements are also made. Replacing**<br>**floors, painting classrooms, improving**<br>**toilets and water supplies.**<br>**Developing irrigation systems for**<br>**watering vegetable gardens is also**<br>**essential.**<br>**In Cambodia we focus on developing**<br>**family vegetable gardens.**<br>**In Tanzania we have started a**<br>**programme of teaching women to make**<br>**reusable sanitary pads. Girls and**<br>**women often have to miss school or**<br>**work when they menstruate. Washable**<br>**pads enable women and girls to manage**<br>**their periods and empower them to fully**<br>**develop their capabilities.**<br>**We aim to ensure that our work is fully**<br>**sustainable.**<br>**The communities we support are fully**<br>**engaged in our work and appreciate our**<br>**endeavour.**|
