Objectives and Activities

The charity aims to support families affected by baby, child or pregnancy loss. We aim to achieve this by (but not limited to):

healthcare professionals as a support resource in order to promote the

emotional, psychological and physical health and wellbeing of bereaved families.

Achievements and performance

Wynter’s Wish Children’s Story Publication

Wynter’s Wish a children’s story has now been published and has been distributed amongst hospitals, bereaved families and bereavement services.

In March 2022, young author Taylor (pictured) was recognised for her achievements at the

Didcot Town Council Awards for her part in helping to bring this book to life. “during our darkest days Taylor wrote a magical story to comfort her own family following the death of baby Wynter and now that story has been published to support those affected by baby loss and child bereavement.”

Sponsored Sky Dive

A charity skydive was finally achieved following easing of COVID restrictions. Jodie, Toni

and Andrea braved the jump in September 2021.

Bereavement Football Team (Wynter’s Wish United FC)

June/July 2021 - Trustee Gary was interviewed on BBC Radio Oxford and a local podcast ‘Inside Loop’ where he was given the opportunity to promote a

charity initiative, a football team for men affected by baby, child or pregnancy

loss.

Statement of the charity’s policy on reserves

The charity have agreed a policy for reserves. The Banking Reserve was therefore set at

Future plans

The charity will strive to continue to achieve its objectives in the future, raising funds through donations, seeking corporate support and fundraising events to ensure the charity's objectives are met.
