inhabitants of Stannington and the general
Sheffield area for it’s provision of social and
recreation facilities (the table tennis club
based at our community centre has several
teams in local leagues) for all ages.
The centre is used as a meeting place for a
men’s mental health group which has
previously not had a private, worthwhile
and relaxing base to meet at.
Over the last year we have also become a
meeting place for a local Turkish, Christian
Pakastani and Muslim prayer groups.
We are also a meeting place for local Asian
women’s groups who use the centre for a
