2021-2022 has been our second year as a PTFA and has seen us again mostly dormant in fundraising due to the COVID pandemic. 

Despite this we have still managed to raise some money through the school lottery. easy fundraising and also Xmas for schools. 

We provided Christmas presents and  provided table cloths etc for the Christmas parties (which this year had 



a polar Express theme) for all of the children in school and also provided each child with an Easter egg. 

We have raised money through Pop up Shops and nonuniform days provided gifts for us to sell at these events. Parents and children alike enjoyed the prospect of bagging a bargain at these sales. 

Our next target is to raise enough money to resurface the whole of the playground, before installing activity boards and murals to brighten it up and provide our children with something to expand their minds as well as aiding healthy bodies. The quote for resurfacing came in at just under £40,000. Quite expensive but not unachievable (in time). 

Now we are out of lockdown and are able to invite people into school again, we plan to have regular family activity nights (quizzes, race nights etc) along with discos and pop up shops, Summer and Christmas fayres, 

Attached you will find a copy of the accounts for 20212022 and it is clear that the COVID pandemic has set us back massively in our endeavours to raise the playground money. 

All members are eager to raise money for the children of Intake Farm. We have a really strong membership now and all members have a ethos of if they can help they will, which is fantastic in such difficult times. 

All meetings were postponed until after COVID restrictions are lifted.
