The trustees present their annual reFX)rt and finanoal statements for the year ended 31 December 2021.
The Iruslees have adopted the provisions of the Acctsjnting and Reporting by Charitts. Statement of
Recommended Praclice applicable lo charities preparing their accounts in accordance with the Financol Reporting
Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Irel￿d IFRS 1021 las amended for accounting Feriods commencing
from 1 January 20161
Objectives and activities
The objectives of the charty are..

Achievements and performance
The trust remains to supwrt its chosen animal sheters of Rescuing European AnimaL% in Need and Manthester &
Cheshire Dogs Home The support has allowed them lo constantly make a tangible difference lo the animals being
cared for. The funds donated continued to assist on provvjing the animals a better quality of life, as well as
supporting the shelter. vh)ich enables them lo keep saving Iwes and give these animals the new Iweslhey deserve
All donations were gratefully receNed and we wll Continue to support these shetters and expand our reach in the
coming year
Further. the trust donated lo Nowzad Charty The tharty used a wrtion of the funds lo help eVa￿ate dogs and
cats to safely due lo conflict in Afghanistan Such furvjs also contributed to the charity's donkey sa￿tuary, lo ensure
they were well looked after by the trusted expertswho have remained behind lo care lor them. The r8nainder of the
donation, was then used vitthin the chanty's clinits and animal she￿e[S. to allow them to treat and continue rescuing
anima￿ in need.
Finally, the trust donated to Pet Fostering servi￿ S¢ottand, to pets experiencing diffi¢uK and distressing
situations. Such pets included those with ill heallh. temp)rary homelessness and domestic abuse The donation
helped the service ¥Mth its annual running costs. to ensure the animals were no longer in such diffI￿lt and
distressing situations
Financial review
11 is the policy of the charty that unrestricted fijnds which have not ￿en desgnaled for a swcific use should be
maintained at a level equivalent lo between three a)d six month's expendrture The trustees consider that reserves
al this level wll ensure that, in the event of a significant drop in hjnding. they wll be able to continue the charity's
currènt activi(ies while consideration i% gwen to ways in Ythich addrtional funds may be raised This level of reserves
has been maintained throughout the year.
Structure, governance and management
The charity is 3 company limited by guarantee govemed by its Memorandum and Articles of association. It is
registerèd as a charity ￿1th the Charty Commission and there are currently 3 trustees. all of whom do not have a
beneficial interest in the company.

by the Charity Commission under section 14515llbl of the 2011 Acl.

The financial statements have been prepared in aco)rdance wth the charty's Igoverning documentl, the
Companies Act 2006, FRS 102 °The Finanaal ReFK)rtirYJ Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of
Ireland. I'FRS 102.1 and the Chanties SORP "Accounting and Reporting by Charities Slalemenl ol
Recommended Practice applicable to charrties preparing their accounts in accordance wth the Financial
Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republt of Ireland IFRS 1021 leffecltwe 1 January 20191. The
charity is a Public Benefft Entrty as defined by FRS 102.
The charity has tsken advantage of the provtsions n the SORP for charf(ies not lo prepare a Slatanent of
Cash Flows.
The financial statements are prepared in slerlirKJ. the functional currency of the charty Monetary
amounts in these financial slalemerrts are rounded to the nearesl £.

At the lime of approving the financial statements, the trustees have a reasonable expèclalion that the charrty
has adequ*e resources t¢ continue in operational ￿lsten￿ for the foieseeable future. Thus the IrLBtees
continue lo adopt the going concern ￿sIS of accourrting in preparing the financial statements.

1.6 Flnancial instruments
The charity has elected lo apply the Fyovsions of Sertion 11 'Basic Finanaal Inslrumerrts, and Sedion 12
'Olher Financial Instruments Issues, of FRS 102 to all of its financaal instruments.
Financial instruments are recognised in the charivs balance sheet when the charity becomes paty lo the
contractual kYOVL%ions of the instrument.
Financial assets and liabilities are offset, ￿th the nel amounts presented in the financial slalements, when
there is a legally enforceable rwJhl lo sel off the recognised amounts and there is an intention lo satle on a net
