On 18th February 2021 the Trust acquired at no cost Land at Traps Hill, Lou8hton, Esses IGIO ISZ.
The lease Is for 125 years and contains a provsion for a pepercorn rent If demanded.
The Trustee5 have decided not value thls lease In the accounts of the Trust due to Its restrictive
use.

It also provides Scholarships for Its graduates to participate in specialist courses in Israel.

The trustees are responsible for preparing the Report of the Trustees and the flnancial Statements
in accordance with applicable law and United Kingdom Accounting Standards l United Kingdom
Generally Accepted Accounting Pratticel.
The law applicable to charities In En8fand and Wales. the Charities Act 2011. Charity l Accounts
and Reports) Regulatlons 2008 and the provisions of the trust deed requires the triistee5 to
prepare flnancial statement5 for each ftnancial year whlch glve a true and falr vlew of the state
of affairs of the charity and of the incoming resources and appllcatlon of resources. Includlng the

ACCOUNTING POUCI

The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention, with the
exception of investments. which are included at market value. as modified by the revaluation of
certain assets and in actordance with the Financial Reporting Standard for Smaller Entitie5
l effective April 20081. the Charities Act 2011 and the requirements of the Statement of
Recommended Prdrtice, Accountin8 and Reporting by Charities.
Exemptlon from preparfTr8 a cash flow statement
Exemptlon has been taken from preparin8 a cash flow statement on the grounds that the charity
qualifies as a small charity.
Incomin8 resources
All incoming resources are included on the Statement of Financial Activities when the charity is
legally entitled to the income and the amount can be qualifted wlth reasonable atturacy.
Resources expended
Expenditure is accounted for on an accruals basis and ha5 been classlfied under headlngs that
aggregate all cost related to the category. Where costs cannot be di￿ttlY attributed to particular
headln8S, they have been allocated to activities on a basls consistent wlth the use of resources.
Grants offered subject to condltiofts. which have not been met at the year end date, are noted
as a commmitment but not acttued as expenditure.
Investments
Fixed asset investments are stated at market value.
For investments where no such value is readily ascertalnable, assets are stated at COSt less
provision for diminution in value.
All Investment assets are UK based unless Othenvise stated.
Unrealised gains and losses on investments are Charged to the ststement of financial activitles In
