The trustees have the power at their discretion to vary or transpose the mode of investment of
the Trust Fund wlthin the range authorised by law for the investment of trust monies.

The year ended value of the Investment portfolio is stated in the notes to these accounts.
On 18th February 2021 the Trust acquired at no cost Land at Traps Hill. Loughton, Esses IGIO ISZ.
The lease is for 125 years and contains a provslon for a pepercorn rent If demanded.
The Trustee5 have decided not value this lease in the accounts of the Trust due to its restrirtNe
Use.
Grant maklng pollcv
The trust provide5 grants to support the leadership training of youn8 volunteers in Redbridge.
It also provides scholar5hip5 for its graduates to participate in specialist course5 in Israel.

onsibilities
The trustees are responsible for preparing the Report of the Trustees and the financial statements
in accordance with applicable law an(1 United Kingdom Accounting Standards l United Kingdom
Generally Accepted Accountin8 Practice).
The law applicable to charlties in England and Wales. the Charities Act 2011, Charity l Accounts
and Reports) Regulations 2008 and the provisions of the trust deed requires the trustees to
prepa￿ flnanclal statements for each ftnanclal year whlch give a true and falr view of the state
of affairs of the charity and of the incoming resources and application of resources, includin8 the
income and expenditure, of the charity for that period.

Accountlng conventlon
The financial statements have been prepa￿d under the historical cost convention. with the
exception of investments, which are included at market value, as modthed by the revaluation of
certaln asset5 and in accordance with the Financial Reporting Standard for Smaller Entities
l effettive April 20081, the Charitie5 Act 2011 and the requirements of the Statement of
Recommenéed Practice. Accountlng and Reporting by Charities.
Exemptlon from preparlnz a cash flow statement
Exemption ha5 been taken from preparin8 a cash flow statement on the grounds that the charity
quallfles as a small charity.
Incomlng resources
All incoming resources are included on the statement of Financial Activities when the charity is
legally entltled to the Income and the amount can be quallfled wlth reasonable atturacy.
Resources expended
Expenditure is accounted for on an accruals basis and has been classtfied under headln85 that
a88regate all cost related to the category. Where CL￿$ cannot be directly attributed to particular
headlngs, they have been allocated to artlvitles on a basis consistent with the use of resources.
Grants offered subject to conditions, which have not been met at the year end date, are noted
as a commmitment but not acctued as expendlture.

Fixed asset investments are stated at market value.
