The trustees present their report with the financial ststements of the charity for the perlod ended
31st March 2021.
The trustees have adopted the provisions of the Statement of Recommended Practice ISORPI
"Accounting and ReF)Ortlng by Chartties" issued in March 20)5.
Commemorating and rememberin8 the vittims of the Holocaust Ithe persecution and
mass murder of six million Jews by the Nazis and their accomplices durSng the period
1933-19451 and other victims targeted by Nazl polocles through:

lill the promotion, organisation and support of the annual Holocaust Memorial Oay
within the Distrlct of Eppin8 Forest;

and also of the persecution and murder of other groups of people as part of Nazi pollcles,
together wlth the contemporary relevance of such events.
The promotion of equality and diversity for the public benefit and in particular the
elimination of discrimination on the grounds of race, disability, sexual orientation or
rellglon by ralslng the awareness of the publk concernlng the causes and effects of
racism and preludlce in society including the significant impact of the Holocaust and
subsequent acts of systematic discrimination. in partKular those leading to genocide.

The trustees have the power at their discretion to vary or transpose the mode of Investment of

On 18th February 2021 the Trust acqulred at no Cost Land at Traps Hlll. Loughton, Esses IGIO ISZ.
The lease is for 125 years and contains a provslon for a pepercorn rent If demanded.
The Trustee5 have decided not value this lease in the accounts of the Trust due to Its restrlrtive
use.
Grant makln8 pollcy
The trust provides grants to support the leadership training of young volunteers in RedbridRe.
It also provides scholar5hip5 for its graduates to participate in specialist courses in Israel.

prepare financial Statements for each financial year which give è true and fair view of the state
of affairs of the charity and of the incomlng resources and application of resources, including the
income and expenditure, of the charity forthat period.

Accountlng conventlon
The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention. with the
exception of investments, which are included at market value, a5 modified by the revaluation of
certain assets and in accordance with the Financial Reporting Stsndard for Smaller Entities
l effectlve April 2CK)81, the Charities Act 2011 and the requirements of the 5t3tement of
Recommended Practice, Accountlng and Reporting by Charf(ies.
Exemptlon from prep•rln8 a cash statement
Exemption has been taken from preparing a cash flow statement on the grounds that the charlty
qualifles a5 a small charity.
Incornifig resourtes
All incoming resources are included on the Statement of Flnancial Activlties when the charity is
legally entitled to the income and the amunt can be qualffled wrth reasonable accuracv.
Resources expended
Expenditure is accounted for on an accruals basis and has been classlfied under headings that
ag8re8ate all cost related to the category. Where costs cannot be directly attributed to particular
headings, Ihey have been allocated to actr¥itles on a basls con51stent wlth the use of resources.
Grants offered subject to conditions. which have not been met at the year end date, are noted
as a commmltment but not acctued as expenditure.
