Trustees:

LEE WEST

To whom it may concern

SA1UTE was originally set up and managed by 4x trustees. One has resigned (Stephen Rees) and one has sadly passed away in a tragic paddle boarding accident in NOV2021 (Paul O’dwyer). The charity currently only has 2x trustees, myself Carl Dent and Lee West and we manage any day to day running of the charity.

In light of the recent passing of Paul and COVID19 restrictions, the charity has somewhat become stagnant and our activities in recent times have become very limited.

We are going to attempt to recruit more trustees, but at this time, the exact structure of this process has yet to be decided on.

We don’t have any planned activities for the year ahead. Although we do intend to carry on with the development of our purchased land near Pen-Y-Fan. This will allow us to follow our initial objective, to create a retreat that veterans and serving members of the armed forces to use as an “escape” and help them improve mental well-being.

As mentioned in paragraphy2. We have not taken part or organised any fund-raising activities since the charity gained charity status. All of the money that has been detailed in the annual report recently completed. Have been acquired from individual fund raising by members of public and deposited in our charity account.

If you require any further information, please feel free to reach out to me on the details you hold for me.

We apologies for the delay in completing both returns. Paul would have previously dealt with all of the admin side of the charity. His untimely and heart breaking death, has left us in limbo and we are only now getting things inline.

Yours sincerely

Carl Dent
