**Objects:** TO RELIEVE THE NEEDS OF PEOPLE WITH DEMENTIA AND THEIR CARERS IN IPSWICH AND THE SURROUNDING AREA FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT BY:THE PROVISION OF SOCIAL ACTIVITIES TO MEET THEIR NEEDS AND RELIEVE ISOLATION AND LONELINESS; RAISING AWARENESS AND UNDERSTANDING OF DEMENTIA IN IPSWICH AND THE SURROUNDING AREA BY THE PROVISION OF LITERATURE, SESSIONS AND WORKSHOPS;WORKING IN ASSOCIATION AND LIAISON WITH OTHER CHARITIES AND ORGANISATIONS IN IPSWICH AND THE SURROUNDING AREA BY PROVIDING EQUIPMENT AND INFORMATION IN RELATION TO LOCAL SERVICES, ACTIVITIES AND EVENTS.

**Activities:** Ipswich Dementia Action Alliance employs a part time worker to co-ordinate all of the activities of the Alliance.  We meet as a Forum every 3 months to hear of the activities of businesses, organisations, groups, volunteers and people living with dementia that are helping to make Ipswich a dementia friendly place, as well as the needs identified by people living with dementia and their families.
