All Trustees and persons involved with our Foundation Days have been
subject to The Child Protection Policy prior to appointment and Cllminal
Records Bureau are carried out annually The children who participate
are accompanied by two teachers from their school and only school
vehicles are used to transw)rt them.

The objects of the Foundation are to promote the advancement of sport I
and to give disadvantaged young people relief and the opportunity io
participate and develop their skn-lls and promote wellbeing.

Our aim is to raise funds from a Gift of Golf Day annually, and this
money is then utilised to take smaS1 groups of between 10 and 15
Ghildren out of school for one day, firsuy to a golf club, where they learn
' to htt a golf ball. putt and generally Eeam a lrttle about hand*ye co-
ordination. There is generally a little competition to end where they get
to play against each other.
We then provide lunGh. so far this has been at McDonalds, with obvious ',
restnctions accordingly to their indNidual dietary restrictions.

Lastly, all of thildren are provided with a medal and c&rtificate from

We are very gratefijl for the many volunteers who have helped with the
Golf Day, all either fn.ends or family of Rickn" Neil-Jones, in wh¢)se name
we have this chanty.
All help has been given freety and we woukl not be ab￿ to raise so
much money. coach the children on the Foundation Days. and have
time to listen and encourage them.

during the year
', We managed three Foundabon Days this year, but also held 2 half days
at st. John Senior School whilst donatsng to their summer School. We
enjoyed the dats with a totsl of 48 children and they ended their day,
. smiling. happy and having made new friends.
Idve began promoting Role Mt)del In Sports arKI presented a shield from
the Foundab'on to the first person in July 2019, and have now presented
'. this each year Sin￿ to the deserving pupil, chosen by their school.
', INe held our annual Golf Day in October 2024 and all monies raised were
as usual for helping us continue helping children.

pnor to his passing. Unfortunately. he was not able to use this.
