DURING THE PERIOD, THE CHARTY SECURED INCOME FROM THE Brief statement of the PUBLIC OF £105,752 OF WHICH £105,602 WERE DONATIONS AND charity’s policy on reserves £150 WERE SALE INCOME FROM WATER. THE CHARITY EXPENDED £92,296 OF WHICH GRANTS WERE £88,435. THIS RESULTED IN A SURPLUS OF £13,456 FOR THE PERIOD WHICH WAS ADDED TO PRIOR YEAR SURPLUS TO GIVE TOTAL SURPLUS FUNDS AS £71,364 WHICH WILL BE RETAINED FOR FUTURE CHARITABLE EXPENDITURE IN THE COMING YEAR.THE TRUSTEES HAVE A POLICY NOT TO HOLD ANY RESERVES APART FROM FUNDS THAT ARE COMMITTED FOR FUTURE CHARITABLE EXPENDITURE AND PAYMENT OF LIABILITIES.

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above charity (“the Trust”) for the year ended 31/07/2024.
- Responsibilities and As the charity trustees of the Trust, you are responsible for the preparation basis of report of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”).
I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
