DURING THE PERIOD, THE CHARTY SECURED INCOME FROM THE
PUBLIC OF £79,181 OF WHICH £71,854 WERE DONATIONS AND
£7,327 WERE SALE INCOME OF DATES AND ZAM ZAM WATER. THE
CHARITY EXPENDED £68,986 OF WHICH GRANTS WERE £61,859.
THIS RESULTED IN A SURPLUS OF £10,195 FOR THE PERIOD
WHICH WAS ADDED TO PRIOR YEAR SURPLUS TO GIVE TOTAL
SURPLUS FUNDS AS £44,755 WHICH WILL BE RETAINED FOR
FUTURE CHARITABLE EXPENDITURE IN THE COMING YEAR.THE
TRUSTEES HAVE A POLICY NOT TO HOLD ANY RESERVES APART
FROM FUNDS THAT ARE COMMITTED FOR FUTURE CHARITABLE
EXPENDITURE AND PAYMENT OF LIABILITIES.
