||||||||At the beginning<br>ofthe year, BOSH provided<br>outreach|on the streets|||three times a week. In||||||||addition|||to this,|
||||||||a twice-weekly<br>cafe service was<br>run<br>from Docklands||Youth|Centre,|||where||clients||could||access|||sports|
||||||||facilities<br>including<br>indoor<br>basketball,<br>five-a-side<br>football,<br>table tennis|||||||& pool.||Sports||are known||||to be|
||||||||beneficial for enhancing<br>mental<br>health and wellbeing.||||||||||||||||
||||||||Food delive<br>service||||||||||||||||
||||||||BOSH also started<br>an emergency<br>food parcel delivery||service for vulnerably||||||housed|||clients,||who||were|
||||||||shielding,<br>due to Covid-19.||||||||||||||||
||||||||We also provided<br>advocacy,<br>support,<br>talking therapies,||floating<br>support,|||||welfare||benefits|||& housing||||
||||||||referrals.||||||||||||||||
||||||||We aim to empower<br>the disadvantaged<br>&discriminated.||||||||||||||||
||||||||We believe that everyone<br>should<br>have a home & live in||safety|to enable||||them|to|rebuild||their lives to fulfil|||||

||||||Prior to lockdown<br>1, we ran a weekly cafe from Docklands|Youth Centre, for the homeless.||They||could||

||||||side football.|||||||

||||||As lockdown<br>1 started, we continued<br>to work, providing<br>daily|food and outreach services to|rough||sleepers|||
||||||and the vulnerable<br>housed. We had over 50,000client engagements<br>in those 12months,<br>working||||alongside|||
||||||Avon &Somerset Constabulary<br>officers and partner agencies.|||||||
||||||Hundreds<br>of clients were successfully<br>accommodated<br>during<br>the government's<br>'Everyone||In' scheme||||but|
||||||there were many<br>still left on the streets who needed<br>support.|||||||
||||||Lived Ex erience Volunteers|||||||
||||||We successfully<br>recruited<br>and trained<br>volunteers<br>with<br>lived|experience,<br>training<br>ranges<br>from||in-house<br>to||||
||||||external substance<br>misuse,<br>mental<br>health first aid, first aid,|safeguarding,<br>food hygiene,<br>housing|||law,||and|
||||||more.|||||||
||||||Food Parcel Delive<br>Service|||||||
||||||We were given the use ofa van during<br>the pandemic<br>which enabled<br>us to increase the services|||we offered||||
||||||to include a food parcel delivery<br>service to the vulnerably|housed.<br>In the first 6 months|of the||year,||we|
||||||delivered<br>114food parcels and ran 76 food bank provisions|from StJames Park.||||||
||||||The dedication<br>of the team<br>is such<br>that our vital services|continued<br>throughout<br>the pandemic,||||whilst||
||||||ensuring<br>social distancing<br>and Covid-19 regulations<br>were followed<br>during<br>this difficult time.|||||||
|FINANCIAL|REVIEW|||||||||||

||||||The trustees<br>have resolved<br>to establish<br>reserves<br>to provide<br>for future<br>activities<br>and to<br>provide<br>funding<br>for the expected expenditure<br>for six months<br>ahead<br>in the sum off5,000.|||||||
|FUTURE PLANS||||||||||||
|||New premises|||Due to our work throughout<br>the pandemic,<br>we have been|offered the use of a building<br>to continue|||||and|
||||||expand<br>our work with the homeless<br>community.|||||||
||||||We are very excited at the thought<br>of moving<br>into our new premises<br>and are very much looking|||forward to||||
||||||being<br>able to offer life skill classes, computer<br>use, phone|charging,<br>one-to-one<br>support|sessions,||||and|
||||||increasing<br>our work with partner agencies to achieve the best possible outcome for our clients.|||||||
