Governance and management
Athletico Sports Foundation Committee is appointed by the board members. Members are appointed to the board through Board meeting and voted on.
Decisions are made as a collective board at quarterly meetings and emergency meetings when required.
Aims and objectives
Summary of the main achievements during the period
To provide support and relief to young people from poverty deprivation and distress.
To provide valuable life skills to young people living in Bradford in particular but not exclusively from the City ward and other inner city areas through:

The provision of sport & recreational and leisure time activities provided in the interests of social welfare and to improve living conditions.

Providing support and activities which develop skills, capacities and capabilities to enable young people to participate in society as mature and responsible individuals

The provision of sport as an effective means to engage young people and to empower them through the medium of sport: to enable them to make good life

decisions and enhance life opportunities through personal development and educational activities.

Sport and sports development with children and young people to engage parents, care givers, related adults and guardians in activities that support young people’s development.

Ensuring positive work and good publicity is being maintained by being active on social media.
Additional Notes pertaining to Accounts:
These accounts were prepared with the grants and contributions which include monthly subscriptions for the football academy.

Receipts & payments accounts
Receipts and payments accounts are statements that summarise the movement of cash into and out of the organisation during the financial year. In this context “cash” includes cash equivalents, for example, bank accounts where cash can be readily withdrawn to pay for debts as they become due.
Committee members’ remuneration Nil.

ATHLETICO SPORTS FOUNDATION is not currently operating to a financial capacity whereby external scrutiny could be obligated. As such it is under no statutory obligation to prepare accounts in any prescribed format or to undergo any kind of external scrutiny.
These accounts have been prepared in accordance with the books, records, information and explanations by ATHLETICO SPORTS FOUNDATION. The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit. However we have satisfied the assessors of this report that in their opinion these accounts and report represent a "true and fair view" and are limited to those matters set out in the statement below.
Statement.
No matter has come to our attention:
1) Which gives us reasonable cause to believe that in any material respect the requirement to keep proper accounting records and to prepare accounts which accord with the accounting records have not been met;
or
2) To which, in our opinion, attention should be drawn in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts reached.
Special Circumstances to be noted:
These accounts are for the accounting period between April 2022 and March 2023 for which funds were allocated to ATHLETICO SPORTS FOUNDATION by various funders.
