The Trustees present their report and accounts for the year ended 31 March 2024.

Objectives and activities
Objectives and Activities of the Clwily:
According to the Constitution & Articles of Faith of the charity, the aim and objects of the society is
to promote any charitable purpose for the IKnefit of the Al-Afsar & Rehtnat Ckwity Tn￿ in the UK
in particular:
(a)Advancement of their religion and culture
(b)Advancemenl of their education
(c)Relief of poverty) distress and Sickness
There bas b¢¢n no chang¢ in these during the year.
Mission gifts
Duting the year, there were no mission gifts to other religious bodies. There were a small arnount of
other charitable donations.
The Trustees have paid due regard to guidance issued by the Charity Comtnission in deciding what
activities the should underthke.
The company's policy is to consult and discuss with employees, through unions. staff councils and at
meetings, matters likely to affect emplo)'ees' interests.
Inforniation of matters of concern to employees is given through information bull¢tins and reports
which seek to achieve a ¢on]mon aw'arcness on the partof all employees ofthe financial and economic
faLtors affecting th¢ group's perfomiance.
Applications for ¢rnployment by disabled persons are always full) Considere￿ bearing in mind the
aptitudes of the applicant concemed. In the ei'ent of members of staff b¢coming disabled, every effort
is made to ensure that their employment within the company s continues and that the appropriate
training is arranged. It is the wlicy of tbe eompany the training, career development and
promotion of disabled persons shoul(L as far as FK)ssible, be identical to that of other employees.

Financial review

It is the policy of the that unrestricted funds which have not been designated for a specific use should
