Section D Achievements and performance
Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year
The charity made a USD5,000 grant to Lulu Stories, a social enterprise in Lamu, Kenya, which supports the education and training of women in artisan businesses. The funds were contributed to a project for the renovation of the shop and workshop.

The charity has raised its funding on a project basis and holds limited reserves over and above those required to complete committed projects. It aims to maintain a minimum of 4 months’ operating expenditure and reserve levels at year end were in excess of this. Reserves are reviewed before projects are committed.
