Section D Achievements and performance

## **Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year**

Our work continued last year in the UK and Cyprus. Sadly we are unable to afford direct flights to the UK now and our dogs from Cyprus have continued to fly to mainland Europe before their onwards travel by DEFRA licenced courier.

The last year saw our efforts focussed on the neediest of dogs requiring rescue, many who experienced initial medical challenges; Anna, Rio, Lena, Tommy, Poco and Dora are all now enjoying their new lives with wonderful families thanks to the generosity of our supporters. We have also supported dogs in long term foster.

We continue to be thankful to all the people whose support allows us to continue our work; from our wonderful foster families and adopters who open their hearts and their homes to our dogs, to the amazing volunteer home checkers who help us to complete vital paperwork ahead of adoption. We would also like to say a special thank you to our ongoing fundraisers, without whom our work would not be possible including Edward Kiley, Nicola Thain and Orchard Lodge Guest House, Flixton. We may not be able to change the world for every dog, but for each dog we rescue, we can change their world. One by One.
