The charity addresses this
through volunteer recruitment,
training, supervision and ongoing
support.
**•**
**Safeguarding:**The charity works
with vulnerable adults, children and
families. Robust safeguarding
policies, DBS checks where
required, staff and volunteer
training, and regular policy reviews
are in place to protect benefciaries.
**•**
**Health and safety:**Risks associated
with community events and
activities are managed through risk
assessments, appropriate insurance,
health and safety procedures, and
regular monitoring.
**•**
**Governance and compliance:**The
trustees ensure the charity complies
with its legal and regulatory
responsibilities through regular
trustee meetings, fnancial oversight,
policy reviews and adherence to
Charity Commission guidance.
The trustees are satisfed that appropriate
systems and procedures are in place to
identify, monitor and manage these risks,
enabling the charity to continue delivering
its charitable objectives effectively.|
