## **Section E Financial review**

**Brief statement of the charity’s policy on reserves**

There is no policy on reserves. However, the Treasurer maintains enough money in the account to cover forthcoming expenses such as event set up costs, floats and licences. At no point in the year was the account overdrawn.

At the beginning of the year, we had total funds of £18,794 across our bank account and cash.

During the year we had incoming funds of approximately £31,459 and we paid £16,000 to the two schools. At the end of the year, we had a total cash balance of £34,253 available for future distributions.

An immediate payment shall be made following the forth coming AGM with follow up payment expected to be agreed with the School.
