Summary of the purposes of
the charity as set out in its
governing document
Para 1.17
Global Teacher is a charity committed to making
digital education accessible anywhere, offline
and off-grid. Our mission is to teach one million
marginalised students by2025.
Summary of the main Para 1.17 and
Our solution to the shortage of resources in
activities in relation to those
purposes for the public
benefit, in particular, the
activities, projects or services
identified in the accounts.
1.19 developing nations is twofold
1) We scaled the #DonateADoc
movement to generate digital
content that can be donated
digitally as opposed to physically
which has supply chain issues.. We
make it possible for educators and
content creators to expand their
reach and donate their educational
material to our digital platform and
we make it available offline and off-
grid for teachers and students in
remote marginalised parts of the
world.
2) Designed and completed our very
own solar-powered projector (POD)
that makes digital education
accessible, anywhere in the world,
offline and off-grid. The digital
material is then filed, organised and
displayed to schools in poor and
marginalised communities around
the world via our solar-powered
projector POD.
3) Recruited a team of volunteers and
support network from the local area
and nationally to get fundraising
support, philanthropist contacts and
rolled out a fundraisingstrategy

which led to successful 5 figure donations. 4) Built a software platform to accommodate donation of digital educational files and then pilot tested this platform in Tanzania alongside COCO. We implemented the platform and system into COCO’s partner schools in Songea Tanzania to understand usability, connectivity and also appropriateness of resources. 15 teachers successfully requested and received digital materials. Statement confirming Para 1.18 whether the trustees have had regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit
