## **Trustee’s Annual Report 2022** The band had a successful year musically, with the return of regular concerts (especially over the Christmas period) and contesting. The February 2022 North West Area contest resulted in qualification for the national finals in Cheltenham in September. Participating in both contests resulted in great expense for the band and it the primary reason for the band posting a loss during the financial year. Expenses also increased, with them being comparatively low when the band was not rehearsing. Fundraising events are in the pipeline as often as possible during the next financial year and a steady income stream from concerts has returned.
