The Trustees, focus has been to dellver
on the fNe-year Strategic Plan by
holding an annual residential
conferen¢e. ICON'S strategy and good
governance for a small charity has
supported the continued success of
ralslng Grant Funding for the Charlty's
works.
The second annual tWO￿aY residential
event in Birmingham was held for people
with variations in sex ¢hara¢teTistics I
people with intersex tralts. The
programme had facilitated sessions. The
sesslons used drawing and structured
di$¢us$lon$ to reflect on personal
experiences and on how to build a
healthy and flourlshing life.

support from the Astfea Foundation to
advocate for intersex people in
government consultatlon, and exploring
opportunities to partner with other

ICON UK received two granls to further the
Charities objectives from Astraea Lesbian
Foundation For Justice USD $10,000 and
USD $10.000 (£7.595 and £7,6721- grants
for 'general support..
A further £322 was receNed in donations
and £80 in training fees.
Expenditure totalled £14,369
The largest item of expendrture was the
cost of Ihe two-day residential peer support
event in Binningham. The cost of room
hires and accommodation lolalled £10,925.
and delegates had travel subsidised up to a
maximum of £80 each.
