Activities

Lifting Limits challenges gender stereotyping and promotes gender equality, in and through education. We do this by working with schools and educators to provide the training and resources they need to make visible, for challenge and discussion, gender stereotyping which may exist in the school environment and to equip their pupils to challenge gender stereotyping wherever they may encounter it.

Objects: The Promotion Of Equality And Diversity For The Public Benefit In Particular But Not Exclusively By:(a) Supporting Schools To Recognise And Challenge Gender Stereotyping In The School Environment;(b) Supporting Schools To Equip Their Pupils To Identify And Challenge Gender Stereotyping And Inequalities;(c) Supporting Schools To Promote Gender Equality Throughout Their School Communities;(d) The Elimination Of Bias Or Discrimination On The Grounds Of Sex Or Gender;(e) Advancing Education And Raising Awareness In Equality And Diversity;(f) Promoting Activities To Foster Understanding Between People From Diverse Backgrounds;(g) Conducting Or Commissioning Research On Equality And Diversity Issues And Publishing The Results To The Public;(h) Cultivating A Sentiment In Favour Of Equality And Diversity.
