Policy on grant making	Para 1.38	The Trustees will apply the funds of Little Liam’s Legacy at their discretion and in accordance with the charitable purposes and objects. In awarding grants, the trustees will apply the following principles;

The Trustees will consider any requests or known situations that are eligible for consideration from any geographical area within Newark on Trent and surrounding areas from families and organisations responsible for and supporting children and young adults up to the age of 18 years. The Trustees are content to work in partnership with other grant making bodies where funding of an entire project is beyond the scope of any single party. The Trustees reserve the right to apply reasonable conditions to any grant that is made. Para 1.20	The main achievement of the charity during the year was to support the funding of a new library at a local primary school. This was a project that enabled the school to provide an accessible library to all its pupils and an imaginative space where they can read peacefully at their leisure, undisturbed by other activities going on within the school. A total of £3,000 was donated by Little Liam’s Legacy towards the project, which represented almost 50% of the total funding required.
