INDEPENDENT EXAMINER'S REPORT TO THE CHARITY TRusfEES AND CHURCH MEMBERS OF CHADDERTON COMMUNtrY CHURCH I report on the accounts for the year ended 5 April 2021. which are attached. Respective responsibilities of Trustees and Examiner The charity trustees and church member5 are responsible for the preparation of the accounts. The charrvs trustees and church members consider that an audit is not required for this year under sertion 144 of the Charities Act 2011 Ithe Charwties Attl and that an independent examination is needed. It is my ￿spOnsibl1[ty to= examine the accounts under section 145 of the Charities Act. to follow the procedures laid down in the general Dirertions grven by the Charity Commission lunder section 145(5llbl of the Charities Act, and to state whether particulai matters have come to my attention. Basis of independent examinerfs statement My examination was carried out in accordan￿ with genetal Dirertions given by the Charity Commission. An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the church and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records_ It also includes consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts. and seeking explanations from the trustees concerning any such matters. The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit. and consequently no opinion is given as to whether the accounts present a 'true and fairf view and the report is limtted to those matters Set out in the statement below. Independent examiner's statement In connection with my examination. no material matters have corne to my attention which gives me cause to believe that in, any material respect= accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 130 of the Charities Act or the accounts do not accord wtth the accounting records the accounts do not comply with the applicab￿ requirements concerning the form and content of accounts set out in the Charities (Accounts and Reports) Regulations 2(X)8 other than any requirement that the accounts give a 'true and fair view which is not a matter considered as part of an independent examination.
