THE EDUCATION AND TRAINING OF THOSE ENGAGED IN THE PRISON AND PROBATION SERVICES AND THE CRIMINAL JUSTICE SYSTEM IN THE REHABILITATION AND EDUCATION OF PRISONERS AND EX-PRISONERS.

**Activities:** To promote the rehabilitation and education of prisoners and ex-prisoners and the reduction of reoffending by:(i) the provision of a specialised programme of education and training for graduate prison officers;(ii) the education and training of those engaged in the prison and probation services and the criminal justice system in the rehabilitation and education of prisoners and ex-prisoners.
