## **Financial Review** 

|Review of the charity’s<br>financial position at the end<br>of the period.|Para 1.21|At the end of the period funds held in the account totalled<br>£31,699.<br>The total income for this time was £24101<br>**Donations**- The majority of this is regular<br>giving by church members.<br>**Fundraising**- This money was raised at the<br>table top sale held in November 2022.<br><br>**Room hire**- There were a couple of parties<br>in this period. But the bulk of this money is<br>from the local council elections. The<br>building was used as a polling station.<br>The**energy rebate**- £963<br>**Cost of Charitable Activity -**This section<br>includes the cost of items purchased in<br>requirement of what we do. Examples<br>include<br>Glowsticks and Oranges - for the<br>Christingle service<br>Sunday School leader's book<br>Furniture and other items for the Toddler<br>group<br>The charity also paid for one of our<br>members to represent the church at the<br>Ground Level Leaders conference (March<br>2023) - this was £272.00<br>Membership to the Christian Copyright<br>Licensing - £352.00<br>and safeguarding training for all members<br>who requested the church pay for them.<br>This totalled £274 to the nearest pound.<br>The**mortgage**cost for this period is £3825<br>**Memberships -**includes our annual<br>subscriptions<br>Ground Level Ministries: £450 per annum<br>Christian Safeguarding Services: £120<br>per annum (Gold membership)<br>The Evangelical Alliance: £380 per annum<br>The cost of**building**<br>**maintenance/improvement**is larger than<br>the previous period.
