Review of activities and achievements
- Face to Face - Barefoot Workshops in Local Nigerian Schools: Prior to the Covid-19 pandemic, we carried out a series of barefoot workshops on computational thinking lessons for teachers in 5 primary schools in Nigeria. Designed to boost subject knowledge and confidence, the barefoot workshop introduces teachers to computational thinking and help them get started with our Barefoot learning materials.
The workshops were delivered by volunteers. During the interactive session, teachers were given some of the Barefoot’s “unplugged” activities to try – these includes activities on programming, abstraction debugging, and patterns.
