Section D Achievements and performance

Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year

During 2021, Second Chance Akita Rescue adopted out 30 Akitas. We continue to grow our membership rates on social media and this has a direct impact on the number of people we can reach and support. This has continued to grow year on year.

We do not dismiss helping a dog because of its age, health or behaviour and we are proud to be one of the few rescues that operate this policy. We provide support and where necessary behaviourist advice to all our adopters, this in return keeps our return rates low.
