## **Annual Report for Glanton Show (charity number 1187517) for the year to 30th September 2024** 

The Charity staged the Glanton Show on 10th August 2024. It was held for the first time on a new showfield which is substantially larger than the previous one, is on more even ground and allowed more parking. It proved very practical and was an improvement. 

The day was a great success with a very good gate and good entries. We had a substantially higher number of people than last year which we believe was a result of our improvement in our social media over the last two years allied to good weather on the day. 

Thanks to the higher gate and a healthy level of donations we reduced our operating loss which meant we did not have to dip into our reserves very deeply.
