The first trustees of the charity {apart from the Senlor Minister) wère
required to retire due to the constitution at the first annual meeting of the
charity, which occurred on 10 September 2020. Three new truste88 wer8
elected in their place on 10 September 2020 being Andrew Meirion Lewis
and Rebecca Shearman, with Alan Stephen Thom8$ eleded on 20
October 2020, who have Since had responsibility for the charity, with the

The charity was established in January 2020 for the purpose of the
advancement of the Christian faith according to the principles of the
Baptist denomination. The church may also advance educalion and carry
out other charitable purposes in the UK and other parts of the world.

This is the First Trustees Report for this new charity.
During the perlod slnce the establishment of the new charity on 22 January
2020 we have been finalising details of the transfer of assets from the previous
charity IBethel Baptist Church Pontyclun Registered Charity Number 11347061.
On 26 March 2020 an Order was issued by the Charlty Commission grantlng an
indemnity under Section 105 of the Charities Act 2011 to the trustees of the
p￿VIouS charity to the transfer of assets and Ilabllltles to this charity.
On 27 August 2020. the formal Agreement relating to the transfer of assets,
Ilabilltles and attivities was completed betsveen the two charltles.
No Income, expenditure, or activitles took place by this charity durin8 the
period 22 January 2020 and 31 August 2020, as the operatlons of the church
continued vla the prevlous charitv.
This newcharity commenced operation from I September 2020.
