**Trustees Report: Nepali Samaj No3ngham** Period Covered: 01/04/2021-31/03/2022 

## **Introduc:on:** 

This trustee report provides an overview of the events and programs organized by Nepali Samaj NoEngham East Midlands during the reporHng period. The report highlights the acHviHes undertaken by the organizaHon to promote cultural awareness, community engagement, and member involvement. 

## **Event 1: Organised Nepalese Fes:vals** 

Nepali Samaj NoEngham East Midlands organized three Nepalese fesHvals during the reporHng period: Dashain, New Year, and Teej Programs. These fesHvals are an essenHal part of Nepalese culture and were celebrated with tradiHonal music, dance, and food. The events were well-aOended and provided an opportunity for members to come together and celebrate their cultural heritage. 

## **Event 2: Held General Assembly for the new commiHee.** 

The organizaHon held a general assembly during the reporHng period to elect a new commiOee. The assembly was well-aOended, and members acHvely parHcipated in the elecHon process. The newly elected commiOee is commiOed to promoHng the organizaHon's objecHves and addressing the needs of the Nepalese community in NoEngham. 

## **Event 3: Organised Nepalese Volleyball Tournaments** 

To encourage members' parHcipaHon and promote inter-organizaHonal compeHHon, Nepali Samaj NoEngham East Midlands organized Nepalese Volleyball tournaments. These events were well-aOended and provided an opportunity for members to engage in healthy compeHHon while promoHng community spirit. 

## **Event 4: Organised Outdoor Ac:vity** 

The organizaHon organized an outdoor acHvity during the reporHng period to take members to the sea. The acHvity was well-received, and members enjoyed the opportunity to socialize while engaging in a fun acHvity. 

## **Conclusion:** 

Nepali Samaj NoEngham East Midlands has been acHve in promoHng Nepalese culture, community engagement, and member involvement. The organizaHon's events and programs have been well-received by members and have contributed to promoHng community spirit and cultural awareness. The trustees are commiOed to supporHng the organizaHon's acHviHes and ensuring that it conHnues to promote the interests of the Nepalese community in NoEngham.
