**Objects:** THE PREVENTION OR RELIEF OF POVERTY WITHIN THE UNITED KINGDOM AMONG SUBJECTS OR CITIZENS OF SPANISH OR PORTUGUESE SPEAKING COUNTRIES AND THEIR FAMILIES AND DEPENDENTS (THE "BENEFICIARIES"), PARTICULARLY BY PROVIDING GRANTS, ITEMS, INFORMATION, ADVICE AND SERVICES TO INDIVIDUALS IN NEED AND/OR CHARITIES OR OTHER ORGANISATIONS ASSISTING SUCH BENEFICIARIES.

**Activities:** Helps Portuguese, Spanish and Latin American nationals in need of welfare, counselling and financial aid whilst in the Great Britain. The Society provides financial help mainly to individuals, usually in the form of a one-off payment of an average of 300 pounds. Applicants, with their different problems, are referred to us by a variety of  social services and private charities.
