The standard Li ons Club c.onsiilulion was adopted by Rad51(Kk &. Trtrlidsomer Norton Lions
Club (CIO) and registered with the Charity. Commission for England & Wales on 21" January
2020

Club5. and Lions Clubs Internalional also beingi consid¢red Each request is assessed on its
own merits before comniiimenl.

Trustees
The passing ot"Lion Alan Denham during the Jear reduced the number of Iruslees to
leaving ihe three ex-otTi¢io iru5tees (Presideni. SecretaTr', and Treasurer) of the Lion5 Club
and two others.
The trustees are responsible for keeping proper accounting recoids that disclose. wilh
asonable accuracy at any time. the financial position of the charity.
Review of Aflivities & Use of Funds
Following the pandemic. ?02•12 j saiA' a return to a more"'nomial'" year and. a]ong with
income from the $0 Club. Christmas and Easter actil'ilies were the major source of income. A
prosEaie cancer awareness clinic was held in Seplember ?022 at which screening of 249 men
took pla¢¢

BASIS of Independent Examiner's Report
My e.xaminaiion was carried oul in accordance with the General Ditections ujN'en by the
c.harities Commission. An examinaiion includes a reN'iew" of the accounting records kept by
the C.harity' and a Comparison of the accounts presented %¥ith those records. It also includes
consideratson of any unusiial items or disclosures in the accounts and seeking explanations
from you as Irustees concerning such matters. The procedures undertaken do not provide all
that woiild be required in an audit. and consequentl J I do nor express an audit opinion on the
