**Objects:** THE OBJECTS OF THE CHARITY ARE FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT AND INCLUDING IN PARTICULAR THE BENEFIT OF CHILDREN IN RURAL SUB-SAHARAN AFRICA: (1) ADVANCING THE EDUCATION AND DEVELOPMENT OF SAID CHILDREN INCLUDING BY DEVELOPING THE CAPACITY AND SKILLS OF SERVICE PROVIDERS AND POLICY-MAKERS TO HELP THEM PROVIDE BETTER QUALITY EARLY CHILDHOOD CARE AND EDUCATION TO SAID CHILDREN; (2) RELIEVING THE NEEDS OF SAID CHILDREN THROUGH CREATIVE EARLY CHILDHOOD DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMMES THAT ENLIVEN MINDS AND EMPOWER THEM TO CHANGE THEIR LIVES AND COMMUNITIES FOR THE BETTER; AND(3) DEVELOPING THE CAPACITY AND SKILLS OF SOCIALLY AND ECONOMICALLY DISADVANTAGED COMMUNITIES OF SUB-SAHARAN AFRICA.

**Activities:** Lively Minds works to get pre-school children in rural Ghana and Uganda school-ready.  Working through government we build the skills and confidence of marginalised mothers to run educational Play Schemes & provide nurturing care at home.  This improves the quality of life and life-chances for children, parents and the wider communities.
