Other important activities are<br>the Hebrew education of Jewish children and<br>the provision of a focus for Jewish culture,<br>traditions, educational and social activities in<br>Norwich and the surrounding area.|

We have an<br>active outreach programme for communicating<br>facts about the Jewish religion, its beliefs and<br>customs for non-Jewish children through school<br>visits to the Synagogue and by Jewish teachers<br>to schools across the county. Throughout the<br>year a wide variety of social and educational<br>events was held.|

The Congregation has been<br>represented at the Board of Deputies of British<br>Jews. 7. The<br>Congregation has supervised Jewish Burials in<br>the Jewish section of the<br>City Cemetery. 8. Cross cultural and interfaith<br>activities have played an<br>important part in the programme of events. 9.<br>An outreach education<br>programme for non Jewish school children has<br>been provided at the<br>Synagogue and throughout the county. 10. A<br>programme for visiting the<br>sick and elderly and supporting families in need<br>is in place. 11. The<br>Congregation has been represented by its<br>Honorary Officers at Civic<br>events such as Remembrance Day and<br>Holocaust Memorial Day|
