KINGSTON LISLE COMMUNITY – RETURN FOR YEAR ENDING 31 MAR 2022
Provision of funds. No further attempt has been made to secure donations of funds within the parish. It was decided at a meeting of trustees that no approach need be made to professional fund-raising nor management organisations.
Expenditure of Funds. The provision of additional equipment in the play area was not pursued since the Parish Council did not wish to meet ongoing insurance and maintenance costs and the trustees did not wish the Community funds to meet this. The trustees agreed that they would continue to offer assistance with improvements to the cemetery extension and village hall when such measures had been finalised and costed. The trustees set a maximum donation from Community funds to help provide three trees and a memorial placard to mark the Royal Jubilee Canopy. Such a project was successfully completed within the budget.
Continued service of trustees. The initial periods of service by trustees, as stated in the constitution, were now beginning to expire. All existing trustees were prepared to serve for a further year. This matter would be put to a meeting of the Parish Council (as authorising agency) at a meeting planned for 19 May 2022.
