General. This is the first return to be submitted by Kingston Lisle Community (Reg no 1187447). Trustee details and functions were updated as of 14Sep 20 but no annual return was expected. As a result, this return will be the first since a bank account was opened for the charity and will show all transactions from that time.
Closure of Hall Charity Reg No 237238. A meeting of the trustees of this charity was held on 2 Mar 20. The meeting was told of the acceptance by the Charity Commission of a more widely-based community charity. The meeting agreed the closure of the hall charity and the transfer of remaining funds to the community charity.
Provision of funds. The registration and function of the charity was circulated by parish media and donations invited. Two donations have been made during the period.
Expenditure of funds Limitations imposed by covid have hampered operation of the charity but proposals for use of funds have been invited on parish media. Funds were provided for an update of lighting in the village hall. The viability of a proposal to add equipment in the play area has been costed and considered by the trustees but no decision has yet been made. Similarly a donation to improve the cemetery extension will be submitted to trustees as soon as practicable.
